Quality Policy

The Higher Technical Engineering School carries out its quality policy through its strategic plan, its multi-year programming and the annual improvement plan.

The Higher Technical Engineering School is aware of the importance of quality in the university context in order to be able to guarantee training programmes that respond to the demands for excellence.

Taking as a reference the quality policy of the USC, the Higher Technical Engineering School prepares its policy, marking as its main objective the development of training programmes that are guaranteed by a quality management, as a key and strategic element to establish a commitment of maximum effectiveness with its stakeholders.

This School wants to be recognised in the university and social context for undertaking training programmes that guarantee the best and most appropriate training for its students, which respond to the demands of the labour, technological and research buyer, which ensure conditions of professional development that are appropriate to its teaching, research and service personnel and which account for the investment and optimization of its resources.

This School directs its efforts towards fully meeting the needs and expectations of all its stakeholders and, in order to do so, it is committed to using all the technical, economic and human resources at its disposal;

For all these reasons, this School is firmly committed to guaranteeing its quality and establishes its policy in accordance with these principles:

  • Integration, participation and equality: this School establishes that all the needs of its stakeholders are met as one of the key principles of its policy and that everyone participates in the development of the School through the channels established for that purpose, guaranteeing accessibility, participation and equality.
  • Guidance for students: this centre guarantees guidance for students in its training programmes, understanding that they are the main recipients of this guidance.
  • Excellence: the work of this School is carried out with the aim of achieving the excellence that the principal models of university quality and the main recognised Schools and Faculties set out.
