The Faculty of Economics and Business Science of the USC has a Tutorial Action Plan for the degrees in Economics and Business Administration under which activities are organised, some of them collectively and others more personalized, aimed at guiding students in different aspects of their academic life and professional future.
The Tutorial Action Plan has the following objectives:
- To facilitate the academic integration of students in the university context and to encourage their participation in university life and in participation and management bodies.
- To guide students in the availability and use of learning resources.
- To offer academic support to students in order to shape their academic and professional project.
- To guide students on options of labour insertion and continuous training.
- To provide teachers with information and resources to meet the demands of the new educational system.
Guidance to new students
Guidance throughout the studies
Guidance for decision-making at the end of the studies.
The USC academic performance evaluation policy allows an extraordinary tutorial support system to be established to help students overcome those subjects that present them with special difficulties.
Students enrolled in any degree, except those in postgraduate studies, may apply for it, provided that they meet these requirements:
- To have a maximum of 18 credits or three subjects pending completion of the degree (excluding the calculation of the End of Degree Project, compulsory work placements, supervised work placements and the practicum).
- To have at least 2 calls for applications exhausted in each of the subjects for which they request support.
