Encompasses the largest suite of X-ray scattering, imaging and diffraction applications in a single instrument.
Equipped with:
- Two-circle theta/theta goniometer.
- Cu anode Xr tube (λ= 0.154nm).
- Hybrid solid state type PIXcel3D detector.
- 5-axis sample platforms for analysis of films, surfaces or rough/non-flat samples.
- Optics:
- High resolution (eliminating beta radiation and Cu Kalfa-2): double bounce multilayer mirror with Ge monochromator (Beam Cu W/Si (hybrid MPD); Crystal-Name: W/Si; Type: Graded Shape: Parabolic Acceptance angle °): 0.800 Length (mm): 55.3 Monochromator Name: Hybrid monochromator 2-bounce Ge (220) or Cu Crystal: Ge Type: Asymmetric Shape: Flat No. of reflections: 2 h k l: 2 2 0).
- High-intensity (wave beam with parallel radiation allowing work on non-flat surfaces): multilayer mirror (X-ray mirror Name: Parallel beam X-ray mirror for Cu radiation; Cry W/Si Type: Graded Shape: Parabolic Acceptance angle (°): 0.800 Length (mm): 55.3).
