Encompasses the largest suite of X-ray scattering, imaging and diffraction applications in a single instrument.
  • Equipped with:

    • Two-circle theta/theta goniometer.
    • Cu anode Xr tube (λ= 0.154nm).
    • Hybrid solid state type PIXcel3D detector.
    • 5-axis sample platforms for analysis of films, surfaces or rough/non-flat samples.
    • Optics:
      • High resolution (eliminating beta radiation and Cu Kalfa-2): double bounce multilayer mirror with Ge monochromator (Beam Cu W/Si (hybrid MPD); Crystal-Name: W/Si; Type: Graded Shape: Parabolic Acceptance angle °): 0.800 Length (mm): 55.3 Monochromator Name: Hybrid monochromator 2-bounce Ge (220) or Cu Crystal: Ge Type: Asymmetric Shape: Flat No. of reflections: 2 h k l: 2 2 0).
