    • Operational equipment
    An additional process, prior to measurement, for samples containing salts that may interfere with the measurement.

    • It is mainly used in MALDI and ESI techniques. It consists of a desalting and concentrating process of the sample, using a reverse phase microextraction (C18 or C4).
