The DSC (Differential Scanning Calorimeter) determines the temperature and heat flux associated with material transitions as a function of time and temperature.

The DSC provides quantitative and qualitative data on endothermic and exothermic processes of materials during physical transitions that can be caused by phase changes, melting, oxidation and other heat-related changes.

TGA-DSC allows simultaneous measurement of heat flow (DSC) and weight changes (thermogravimetry) of a material as a function of time and temperature.

  • Samples should be accompanied by the completed sample form.

The weight of the sample, the method to be used and above all that the user ensures that the samples will not give off corrosive gases that could damage the equipment is of great importance.
