The DSC (Differential Scanning Calorimeter) determines the temperature and heat flux associated with material transitions as a function of time and temperature.

The DSC provides quantitative and qualitative data on endothermic and exothermic processes of materials during physical transitions that can be caused by phase changes, melting, oxidation and other heat-related changes.

TGA-DSC allows simultaneous measurement of heat flow (DSC) and weight changes (thermogravimetry) of a material as a function of time and temperature.
