High performance scanning electron microscope.
  • High performance scanning electron microscope.

    • Working modes at high vacuum (HV), variable pressure (VP) (10Pa -400Pa) and up to environmental pressure (EP) (3000 Pa) with W or Lab6 illumination sources.
    • Possibility of sample hydration and temperature control (-30, +50 °C) by Peltier plate.
    • EDX microanalysis (129ev and WD 8.5 resolution), qualitative and semi-quantitative: chemical element distribution map and concentration profiles of a chemical element between two points.
  • Detectors

    • BSE- Backscattered Electron Detector.
    • SE- Everhart- Thornley Secondary Electron Detector.
    • VPSE- Variable pressure Secondary Electron Detector.
    • RX (Oxford Inca x-act) (129ev resolution).

    Resolution

    • 3nm at 30 kv, SE and W (2nm with LaB6).
    • 4.5 at 30kv BSD (VP mode).
    • 20nm at 1kv SE and W (15nm with Lab6).
    • 10nm at 3kv SE.

    Acceleration voltage: variable between 200v-30kv adjustable every 10 Volt.

    Magnification range: 5x and 1,000.000x.

    Motorised plate 125 x 125 x 50 mm xyz.
    Chamber dimensions allowing samples up to 145 mm to be inserted.
