Micromatograph.
  • X-ray microtomograph equipment used for scanning the microstructure of solid samples with a minimum resolution of 1-5 µm. Maximum sample sizes of about 7 cm in length.

    Other tomographic equipment

    The Unit has access to other USC tomographic and radiographic equipment through collaboration agreements. This equipment allows us to broaden the range of analyses we offer in terms of sample type and resolution.

    • Bruker Skycan 1278 microtomograph: Preclinical Imaging Laboratory. CEBEGA. In-vivo samples Resolution over 50 µm.
    • Bruker Skycan 1172 microtomograph: La Graña Marine Biology Station. Ferrol. Marine and other samples. Resolution over 1 µm.
    • CBCT I-CAT tomograph: USC Faculty of Medicine and Odontology equipment. Centimetric samples, resolution over 0.2 mm.
    • Hitachi Eclos 16 tomograph: Rof Codina University Veterinary Hospital equipment. Decentimetric samples, resolution over 0.4 mm.
    • Siemens Luminos Fusion radiographer: Rof Codina University Veterinary Hospital equipment. Radiographs.
