Schedule
Monday to Friday, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.
  • Operational equipment
Instrumentation for IR spectra.
  • Varian FT-IR 670 Spectrometer with coupled microscope. Configured to work in Medium and Far IR (7.900-20 cm-1). Resolution of 0, -1 (0.07 not apodised). Pneumatic motion interferometer for higher transmission. Signal to Noise Ratio in 5 sec. of 12.000:1 with 75 % attenuation of the bundle (only 25 % transmitted), peak to peak measurement with a spectral resolution of 4 cm-1.

Varian 610 IR Mapping microscope with fully automatic microscope control. Highly sensitive MCT detector with 250 micron active surface. Working modes in transmission, reflection, absorption-reflection, and micro-ATR. Motorised plate with the possibility of analysis by mapping and simultaneous control from the operating software. Simultaneous acquisition in visible and IR, from the software.  In addition, it has a Ge micro-ATR lens to measure difficult samples (opaque and poorly reflective).

ATR PIKE for analysis of solid or liquid samples, as well as gels or pastes. Single reflection. Its excellent optical design provides high-energy spectra.

  • IR-Raman unit
