Work placements

External work placements are a training activity that aims to enable students to apply and complement the knowledge acquired in their academic training of Degree and Master’s Degree.

The reason for the work placements, in the degrees of the Faculty of Education Science is to allow  a process of mutual enrichment to be established between what is learned in university classes, which helps to them read, understand and interpret better what happens in the scenarios of professional practice, and what is lived and experienced in the centres and institutions where the work placements are carried out, establishing the appropriate relationships with the theoretical and practical content acquired.

Certificate for crimes of a sexual nature

Organic Law 1/1996, on the legal protection of minors, modified by Law 26/2015 and Law 45/2015 on volunteering, establishes the obligation to submit the negative certificates from the Central Register of Sexual Offenders for all the professionals and volunteers usually working with underage people.

In order to comply with this regulation, the USC consults this information through intermediary platforms. For this purpose, all students enrolled in the Practicum subjects must authorise this consultation. It is not necessary, therefore, to send any document except for the opposition to the consultation, which must be attached through the Virtual Secretary's Office, the Negative Certificate of Crimes of a Sexual Nature when requested.

Students who do not give their authorisation or do not present the certificate when requested will not be able to do the Practicum.
