The San Clemente Residential College, located in Plaza Rodríguez Cadarso, South Campus of the University, is the second building of Jenaro de la Fuente's project.

  • Facilities and services

    • Rooms: 56 singles and 9 doubles, with bathroom
    • Cleaning:  Once a week
    • Furniture: Bed, bookcase, table, chair, mattress protector and pillow. Blankets are available upon request.                   
    • Caretaker: 24 hours
    • Kitchens: 1 kitchen for common use. Individual shelves available. Own utensils, not provided.
    • Laundry: 1 room with washing machines and dryers available to residents (for a fee).
    • Library: Lending of books and films to residents.
    • Rooms: reading, study, work, leisure, video/TV.

    Rules

    • Electrical appliances in the rooms: only a small refrigerator (no more than 51 cm high, and energy rating A+ or higher) is allowed. Appliances such as toasters, microwaves and coffee makers (except capsule coffee makers) are not allowed.

       

     

  • It was built in 1942 and continues a tradition, named the "clementina", which dates back to the 16th century, when Archbishop Juan de San Clemente founded the college, located in what is now Rosalía de Castro Institute.

    Its accommodation was originally for male students, but nowadays it is mixed.
