SUR offers accommodation services for congresses attendees.

SUR offers accommodation services for participants in congresses organised or sponsored by the USC, but also for others promoted by entities outside the University.

  • Congress managers may request accommodation for attendees in any of the residences or halls of residence of the USC through our online form.

    Rooms can be single or double, depending on the centre requested. Please note that when occupying a double room you will have to pay the full amount of the room.

    When you send the application form, it is reviewed in our service. After that, you will receive an email with the confirmation of the reservation or with the communication of the non-availability of places in the selected centre.

  • USC staff should apply using the form on this page. In this form you can choose the following payment methods:
           1. Bank transfer for the total amount of the reservation. At the end of the stay an invoice will be issued with the details indicated on the application form.
           2. Application/Authorisation form. You must send the corresponding signed application/authorisation form for the issuing of the internal charge (excluding VAT) at the end of your stay.
           3. Web processing/management. Organisers must book the number of places required for the dates of the congress. We will confirm the booking and send the applicant a link, so he can resent this link to people interested in the accommodation. Assistants must pay the accommodation by credit or debit card at the time when they book a  place using this link.

  • Staff from outside the USC who is in charge of managing a congress related to teaching, research or culture may request accommodation in any of the USC residence halls using our online form.

    Payment
    In this case, there is just one payment option: by bank transfer for the total amount of the reservation.
    At the end of the stay, the corresponding invoice will be issued, so it is very important to fill in the invoicing data correctly in the application form.

  • One month before the start of the congress, you must inform SUR of the actual number of places you will occupy. At the same time, you must request the cancellation of the places you do not need so that you do not have to pay for them.

    Except for the "Web Processing" option for USC congresses, 20 days before the accommodation date, a list must be provided with the identifying details of the occupants (full name and NIF/NIE/Passport number). From that moment on, no changes in the number of reserved places will be accepted.

    In "Web Processing" option, modifications or cancellations of bookings which are already paid must be requested at least 7 days before the begginig of the stay in the residence hall.
