The Jesús Bal y Gay University Hall of Residence, located at A Estrada da Granxa, 130, is the only USC Hall of Residence on the Lugo University Campus.

    • 90 single rooms (1 adapted) for residents and international students with shower and sink in the room, cleaning 1 times/week, bed, bedside table, table, chair, bath trolley, closet, pillow, blankets and bedspread on request, mattress protector and mattress cover. International students will be provided with sheets and towels with cleaning at the student's expense. Rooms must be returned in the same condition at the end of their stay.
    • 4 individual rooms for guests with shower and individual washbasin, cleaning twice a week, complete furniture, pillow, bedspread, blanket, sheets and towels.

    Rules

    • Electrical appliances in the rooms: only a small refrigerator (no more than 80 cm high, and energy rating A+ or higher) is allowed in the rooms. Appliances such as toasters, microwaves, coffee makers (except capsule coffee makers), heaters, etc. are not allowed.

    Services

    • Caretaker: 24 hours. Administration: From 8.00 a.m. to 3.00 p.m.
    • Kitchens: 1 kitchen for common use throughout the residence, both for residents and guests. Individual cupboards are available, assigned at the beginning of the course with the room. No own utensils are provided (only to international mobility students and subject to availability).
    • Refrigerators and microwaves: refrigerators, microwaves and chest freezers for common use by residents.
    • Laundry: self-service with a washing machine and dryer (for a fee), irons available for residents.
    • Gymnasium with various fitness equipment, tennis table and table football.
    • Library and study room.
    • Rooms: residents' dining room, video/TV, assembly hall, computer room with Internet access.
  • It was completed in 1994 by the Town Council of Lugo and ceded to the USC in the 1994-95 academic year.

    Since its opening, it has been a mixed hall of residence.
