    This qualification enables in Spain the exercise of the regulated profession of Technical Industrial Engineer

    This qualification enables the holder to exercise the profession of Technical Industrial Engineer.
    The general objective of the qualification is to train people capable of responding to the real needs of society in the field of processing of raw materials, natural products and industrial activity in the broadest sense, which includes the chemical and petrochemical, pharmaceutical, food, textile, environmental and related industries.

  • 2nd edition of the degree

    The 2nd Degree in Industrial Chemical Processes includes the following mentions:

    -Mention in Technology in Sustainable Chemistry
    -Mention in Technology in Food Processing -Mention in Technology in Transformation of Raw Materials
    -Mention in Energy Technology

    In order to obtain any of the above-mentioned mentions, the student must take the two optional subjects corresponding to that mention. However, the student may obtain the degree without mention if he/she completes the study plan without fulfilling this requirement.

    1st edition

    No specialities are contemplated, but there are areas of competence related to the following specific technologies:

    -Specific technology for Industrial Chemistry
    -Specific technology for Industrial Chemical Process Engineering

  • The Faculty has 11 25 general purpose lecture halls. Additionally, it has 3 computer rooms and labs of varying capacities.

    There are also specially designated areas for students, such as a reading room with more than 70 reading stations, equipped with computers.

    The Faculty has wifi network coverage throughout the building.

    The Library Service of the Lugo University Campus is centralised in a single building called Inter-Centre Library located next to the centre where students have more than 1600 consultation stations, distributed over 9 rooms including a room for group work.

    La movilidad de los/as estudiantes está regulada a través del “Reglamento de intercambios interuniversitarios”. A través de la Oficina de Relaciones Exteriores se gestionan programas de intercambio tanto nacionales (SICUE), como europeos (ERASMUS) y extracomunitarios (intercambios con países de América Latina o países de habla inglesa):

    A 2ª edición do grao contempla unha materia de 12 ECTS de prácticas externas. Los estudiantes podrán realizar las prácticas en una empresa con la que la USC tenga firmado previamente un convenio.

    El objetivo de las prácticas es completar la formación académica del estudiante mediante la interrelación con el mundo laboral y empresarial, mejorando así tanto la capacitación científica y técnica adquirida en las materias obligatorias del título como sus competencias transversales y habilidades personales, así como saber incorporar los valores profesionales y competencias propias del ámbito de la Ingeniería Técnica Industrial.

    Durante la realización de las prácticas, los estudiantes tendrán un tutor académico de la Universidad, que deberá ser profesorado de la titulación y un tutor externo de la entidad colaboradora con experiencia profesional y conocimientos necesarios para una tutela efectiva. Al finalizar el período de prácticas, el tutor externo remitirá al tutor académico un informe final y el estudiante elaborará una memoria de prácticas. El tutor académico, a la vista del informe del tutor externo y de la memoria, evaluará las prácticas desarrolladas emitiendo un informe de valoración.

  • Ejercicio original a realizar individualmente y presentar y defender ante un tribunal universitario, consistente en un proyecto en el ámbito de las tecnologías específicas de la Ingeniería Industrial de naturaleza profesional en el que se sinteticen e integren las competencias adquiridas en las enseñanzas.El trabajo Fin de Grado se podrá realizar una vez superados los 204 créditos obligatorios. En el momento de la presentación del proyecto el alumno deberá tener superado todos los demás créditos necesarios para la obtención del título (228 ECTS).
