The tutoring programme is a training action linked to the A Ponte initiative between Secondary Education and USC.
The programme has a six credit recognition and students must have passed at least 60 credits in order to participate.
Applications, addressed to the Dean or the Director, shall be submitted to the dean's offices or director’s offices of the centres. The application period is from 4 February to 21 February 2022.
This is carried out over two academic years:
- A first theoretical course in which complete information about the USC is given and students are trained in the necessary techniques to be able to orientate new students at the USC.
- In the second year, the student body welcomes new students as tutors throughout the academic year; it collaborates in the dissemination of the USC in secondary schools in Galicia, in guided visits that secondary school students make to the USC facilities and in other activities related to secondary education.
Classes for the first course are from 7 March to 24 March, from Monday to Thursday, from 8.15 pm to 9.45 pm.
In the Santiago campus they will be held in the Assembly Hall of the Faculty of Law and in the Lugo campus in Classroom 3 of the Faculty of Business Administration and Management.
