Reduction of maternity risks in the USC.
The USC has guidelines on the actions to be taken to avoid exposure to possible maternity risks in the workplace.
The protection foreseen in the procedure will not be activated if the employee does not communicate her pregnancy/recent birth/breastfeeding period, as pregnancy remains within the scope of the right to privacy of the working woman, until she decides otherwise.
Therefore, for the protection of her health and that of the foetus or infant, whenever she is pregnant/recently given birth/breastfeeding, she should notify this by sending the pregnancy notification web form or by handing in the pregnancy notification form to the Health Surveillance Service.
