Summary
Migration has existed throughout the years and continues to be a significant event today. Galicia has been affected by emigration years ago, but today it has experienced a growth in population due to the arrival of immigrants. There is a large volume of people who are in an irregular administrative situation and who subsequently seek to regularize their situation in order to achieve stability in the country of destination, in this case Spain. One of the options for this regularization and one of the most demanded is through social roots. This final degree project is a qualitative research project focused on the profession of Social Work, which aims to analyze the impact of social roots in the lives of immigrants, focusing on the before and after obtaining it. It is carried out from the perspective of the population under study, which in this case will be the Colombian people who have requested the report of rootedness in the basic community social services of Noia It should be noted that the methodology to be used in this project is qualitative, which will be carried out through a semi-structured interview with the population under study, thus achieving a deeper analysis of the different experiences, as well as the perspectives of the population in order to build knowledge.
