Work placements

External academic work placements are a training activity that aims to allow students to apply and complement the knowledge acquired in their degree training.

The Study Plan Report for the Degree in Social Work establishes that it is an indispensable requirement to have passed 150 basic and obligatory credits to be able register in the Work Placements, including all those of the first half of the degree.

It is also recommended that the following subjects be taken:

  • Specialised social services
  • Social work with individuals and families
  • Documentary supports and information management in social work
  • Design and assessment of social intervention projects
  • Social protection measures
  • Management and planning of social services
  • Management of organisations
