Work placements

External academic work placements are a training activity carried out by university students and supervised by the USC. Their aim is to allow students to apply and complement the knowledge acquired in their Degree and Master's Degree academic training.

At the same time, they contribute to the acquisition of skills that prepare them for professional activities, facilitate their employability and foster their entrepreneurial skills.

The Faculty of Communication Sciences organises external academic work placements in companies in the communication sector, linked to the USC through the USC-Company internship agreements.

The skills acquired by the students of the official Bachelor's and Master's degrees of the faculty are related to the tasks they carry out during their stay in the host companies.

In addition to these specific skills, students will learn about the working conditions and dynamics of companies in the field of journalism and communication on an experimental basis.
