The ‘Olimpia Valencia’ library, which is the Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry library, has a capacity of 156 reading places.

  • Collections

    The Library's printed collections of monographs and journals are divided between direct access rooms and repositories.

    The physical collections, almost all of which are modern collections, come from purchases and some donations, including the collections of doctors José Luis Barros Malvar (Cardiology), Alfredo García Alén (Gynaecology), Manuel Fuster Siebert (Cardiology) and Jesús Suárez López (Ophthalmology).

    In addition, users can consult, in electronic format, titles of journals and monographs in the area of Health Sciences, subscribed or acquired directly by the BUSC or in consortium with the Inter-University Consortium of the Galician University System (CISUG).
