The ‘Víctor López Seoane’ Library is located on the main floor of the Faculty of Biology.
It has 289 reading places, 20 of them in the group work room.

The collection consists of 1,021 journal titles and more than 27,406 volumes of manuals belonging to the following areas of knowledge:

- Cell Biology and Developmental Biology.
- Biochemistry and Molecular Biology.

- Ecology.
- Soil science.
- Animal Physiology.
- Plant Physiology.
- Microbiology
- Technology of Fishery Products.
- Zoology.
- Genetics.
Since 2019, it also has, in deposit, the collections of the Documentation Centre of the Spanish Society of Soil Science (SECS). About 2000 titles of manuals, maps and professional reports, coming from donations of its members.
