The objectives of the subject "Supervised research work" consist of a student with an access profile unrelated to the Programme, being able to acquire the skills to develop their thesis in their field. In these cases, the program memory envisages that the student must carry out supervised research work on a topic that will determine the CAPD (3 ECTS) once the applicant's profile has been analysed.
1. Identification of a research topic in the field of energy.
2. Preparation of the INDEX
3. Elaboration of the SUMMARY
4. Elaboration of the INTRODUCTION: justification of the topic, and after a bibliographic search a debate will be included on the background and the state of the art on works that have done the same or similar, that is, how to submit to the examination and analyze the results. Justification of the work.
5. Objective. Elaboration of the GENERAL OBJECTIVE and then elaboration of the SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES.
6. Elaboration of an appropriate scientific METHODOLOGY, systematic analysis of the scientific literature. Analysis of the subject from a historical perspective: definition of deadlines or stages. Analysis of regulations by time frame: legal framework (first make an outline of the legislation and then indicate what it establishes). Analysis of the results of the application of the regulations by stages.
7. Development
8. RESULTS AND DISCUSSION
9. Elaboration of CONCLUSIONS that respond to the objectives
10. Elaboration of the BIBLIOGRAPHICAL REFERENCES section

The indicated tutor will give personalized expository and interactive classes, in which the student will be able to acquire the skills to develop the work. The student will work independently on each part and, once each one is finished, will request a new expository/interactive class from the tutor. Once the work is finished, it will be given to the tutor for evaluation, and a date of exhibition will be agreed. The presentation of the work will be a synthetic presentation of 15 minutes and a maximum of 15 minutes to answer the questions that are raised.
The evaluation will consist of three parts:
• Continuous assessment 30%
• Final work document 40%
• Presentation of work 30%
