History

The University School of Labour Relations began its trajectory in 1995 in response to the social demand to train experts in the field of labour and its relations.

Therefore, the first degree taught was the now extinct Diploma in Labour Relations. The Degree in Labour Relations and Human Resources has been established since the 2009-2010 academic year, with the integration of the European Higher Education Area into the system,

The University School of Labour Relations was created thanks to the Lugo University Campus Foundation, an entity created in 1995, which was initially promoted by the Regional Council of Lugo, the Confederation of Businessmen of Lugo and the Chamber of Commerce, which was later joined by the University of Santiago de Compostela.

The main aim of its creation was to promote and collaborate to achieve the objectives established by the University Campus of Lugo, providing all the necessary means for such achievement and even providing new methodologies and activities.
