That students understand the importance of health as an economic service, with production from scarce resources and a market of supply and demand. In the same way, proposing different financing models and their consequences, at a time when, in most countries, public prominence in health benefits is one of the basic pillars of the so-called Welfare State.

The subject will be developed through theoretical-practical sessions, in which cases will be analyzed and exercises will be carried out that facilitate the incorporation of the participants' experience and encourage their participation, according to the Contingency Plan indicated in the Observations section.

In order to maximize learning, it is advisable for students to prepare in advance the readings, practical cases and recommended texts, carry out all the activities formulated by the teachers and attend classes regularly.
The general and specific measures of the "Contingency Plan for or development of teaching not academic year 2021-2020" (Government Council April 30, 2021) will be applied as appropriate.

The delivery of works in digital format will be promoted. If a printed work is requested for the subject, either individual or group, the following indications will be taken into account:

- Do not use blank sheets as chapter or part dividers.
- Avoid annexes that do not have direct reference to the topics covered in the papers.
