Museo A domus do Mitreo

The A Domus do Mitreo University Museum is a museum centre managed by the University of Santiago de Compostela (USC) located in a building that houses the headquarters of the Vice Chancellor’s Office of the Campus of Lugo. The remains of a Domus were found on the site, which, during the Early Roman Empire, was partially renovated to build a private building for use as a Mithraeum. The Museum exhibits a selection of ceramic, glass and metal pieces in its facilities, which were found in the archaeological excavations of the site, mainly from Roman times, although material remains from medieval and modern times were also found.
