The aim of the Audiovisual Media Service (SERVIMAV) is to promote the use of new audiovisual technologies in teaching and research and to encourage the production and dissemination of educational, cultural and informative videos at USC. At the same time, SERVIMAV is in charge of the archiving and custody of the University's audiovisual collections and their publication through USC TV and Youtube USC channels.

Its catalogue of services includes recording and broadcasting University events, through the USC Youtube channel; the creation of audiovisual products for departments, research groups, faculties, etc.; collaboration with the Centre for Learning Technologies (CeTA) supporting the quality processes of teaching and promoting the development of audiovisual projects. It also advises the University on the acquisition and use of new equipment.
