The Galaico Durienses Games began in 1993.
The Galaico Durienses Games are a unique university sports competition in which athletes from the universities of northern Portugal (Minho, Porto, Trás-os-Montes e Alto Douro) and the three Galician public universities take part.

Registration
The entire USC university community can participate.
Procedure
- Pre-registration, for which it is necessary:
- to register in the USC Sports Area application (if you have not already done so);
- Formalise the application to be called within the deadline for each sporting modality.
- Analysis of the applications by the USC Sports Area, based on the established criteria.
- Attendance at the calls made by the USC Sports Department for training sessions, meetings, etc.
- Selection: the USC Sports Area will determine which athletes will represent the USC.
