The Master's Thesis involves the student carrying out a project developed in a company or in a research group in which he applies and develops the knowledge acquired within the master's degree. The work must be oriented to the application of the general competences associated with the degree. This subject, which is useful for all modules, will develop a large number of transversal skills:
-Prepare, write and public defend scientific and technical reports.
-Work in a team and adapt to multidisciplinary teams.
-Work autonomously and efficiently in the daily practice of research or professional activity.
-Appreciate the value of quality and continuous improvement, acting with rigor, responsibility and professional ethics.
-Demonstrate an attitude of respect towards the opinions, values, behaviors, and practices of others.
The Master's Thesis will have a professional or research nature according to the chosen itinerary:
1.- Professional itinerary: it will involve carrying out a professional project in a company with which an agreement has been signed.
2.- Academic-researcher itinerary: it will involve carrying out a research work within a research group.
The Master's Thesis will involve carrying out a project associated with a work plan signed by the person /s who will / will tutor the student, in such a way that the student will have to carry out: Bibliographic documentation on background and status current theme of the proposed project. Elaboration of a proposal of objectives, carrying out the experiments, data processing, elaboration and defense of a memory of results and conclusions.

Resolution of practical exercises (problems, multiple choice questions, interpretation and processing of information, evaluation of scientific publications, etc.)

Personal study based on the different sources of information
Completion of the different tests to verify the obtaining of both theoretical and practical knowledge and the acquisition of skills and attitudes
Stay in the laboratory or in a company to carry out advanced practices and / or the Master’ Thesis. Individual practical work under the supervision of a personal tutor, with the adequate infrastructure and other necessary means to be able to achieve the proposed objectives.
Final exam, 100%
The evaluation will be carried out by a court appointed for this purpose by the Academic Committee of the Master's Thesis. The court will evaluate the oral expression, the memory and the defense of the same in a public act.
"For cases of fraudulent performance of exercises or tests, students and qualifications review will be applied or recollected to the Regulations for the validation of academic performance."
