Scientific transfer and communication

Be able to design a product protection strategy through patents and other industrial property titles.
Be able to exchange knowledge, criticism and debate on advances, innovations and / or research related to Chemistry.
Be able to use the tools available in the new communication formats, both oral and written.

Technology transfer: associated contracts and technologic companies and patents.
Preparation and writing of projects and reports. Scientific writings: preparation of articles and design of posters. Oral communication: planning, design and staging of presentations with graphic support.
Scientific symposium: lectures given by guest speakers. Oral or poster communications, in which students will present a research topic.
Courses, seminars and conferences on advanced chemistry topics, by reputable specialists in the field of research.
In some cases, it is possible to include visits to companies and technological or research centres related to the contents of the course, depending on the financial resources available, and seeking as far as possible an integration with the contents of other subjects of the master's degree. The objective of the visits is to connect the contents of the subject with the industrial reality and research in the industry, as well as organizations dedicated to pollution control.

Due to its multidisciplinary nature, a basic bibliography cannot be recommended. Bibliography will be recommended for each of the programmed activities.

CE2 - Propose alternatives for solving complex chemical problems of the different chemical specialties
CE3 - Apply materials and biomolecules in innovative fields of industry and chemical engineering
CE9 - Valuing, promoting and practicing innovation and entrepreneurship in industry and in chemical research.

Face-to-face theoretical classes. Expository classes (using blackboard, computer, cannon), complemented with virtual teaching.
Seminars taught by teachers from the Master, or with invited external professionals (from companies, administration or other universities). Interactive sessions related to different subjects with debates and exchange of opinions with students.
Oral presentation of papers, reports, etc., including discussions between teachers and students
Elaboration of works, both individually as in groups, based on scientific topics related to the different subjects of the master.
Use of specialized computer programs and the internet. Support online teaching, virtual campus, microsoft teams.
Personal study based on different sources of information.

Attendance at the symposium (and other compulsory activities) will be an essential requirement for passing the course.

In relation to the COVID 19 health crisis, the evaluation system and the percentages will be the same regardless of the 3 scenarios (see methodology)
"For cases of fraudulent performance of exercises or tests, the Regulation for the evaluation of the academic performance of students and the review of qualifications will be applied."
