Teaching Innovation Groups

In recent years the USC, aware of the importance of training and educational innovation to improve the quality of university teaching has been deploying a range of actions aimed at combining the training of the Teaching and Research Staff with the implementation of innovative experiences in teaching practices.

A register of teaching innovation groups has been created in order to advance and provide greater systematisation, consolidation and recognition of these actions, with the following objectives:

  • To promote the active participation of the Teaching and Research Staff and the forming of stable groups (teaching innovation groups) that carry out training and teaching innovation actions.
  • To give recognition and dissemination to the training and teaching innovation actions carried out by the teaching innovation groups formed.
  • To encourage a global approach to innovation, combining teacher training, teaching innovation and research into the innovation process itself.
  • To promote a culture of collaboration in order to achieve a more efficient, effective and coherent training action and to stimulate continuing education as a key element in the professional development of teachers.
