The Department comprises 4 areas of knowledge -Architecture and Computer Technology; Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence; Electronics; and Languages and Computer Systems- which have 47 teachers and researchers who teach subjects from 20 degrees, 1 open degree; 6 double degrees, 14 master's degrees and 2 PhD programmes and carry out their scientific production through 2 USC research groups.
