At the end of the study of this subject, the student must have acquired knowledge about the importance of the electrical network as an essential element of distribution in all stages of the energy cycle (production, transport, storage, efficient consumption), as well as the essential characteristics of the Spanish model (structure, maintenance, regulation).
Likewise, students must have acquired basic notions about the topological description of the structure of electrical networks.
Energy market The electricity network: transport and distribution. Distribution network. Medium and low voltage network. Regulation of the distribution and access to the distribution network. Lines and substations. Operation of the electrical system. Maintenance of the electrical network. Contingencies in the network.
Complex networks: structure and robustness of the electrical network. Horizon 2020: criterion N-1. Demand management Connection of Renewable Energy Systems in the Electrical Grid.
Description of the Spanish electrical system. Structure. Binding and indicative planning. Regulations and operating procedures. Applications. Project management in Red Eléctrica.
These contents may be subject to revision due to the dynamism of the sector and the regulatory changes it undergoes.
