Este máster contempla tres especialidades:

-Especialidad en Planificación urbana y regional
-Especialidad en Tecnologías de la información y planificación ambiental
-Especialidad en Gestión de áreas rurales y de interés natural

Para obtener el título por una especialidad, el alumno debe cursar un mínimo de 15 créditos de asignaturas pertenecientes al módulo de dicha especialidad. El resto de créditos optativos puede cursarlos con materias del mismo o de los otros modulos de especialidad. Finalmente, si así lo desea, de no cumplir el requisito anterior, también podrá obtener el título sin especialidad.

Este programa está dirixido a titulados en tres grandes áreas: Arquitectura e Enxeñaría, Ciencias Sociais e Xurídicas e Ciencias. Na primeira, terán prioridade de acceso os titulados en Enxeñaría (Agrícola, Forestal, Civil), Paisaxe e Arquitectura; na segunda, os de Xeografía e Ordenación do Territorio. En función das súas preferencias formativas, os estudantes poderán optar por cursar unha das tres especialidades ofertadas: 1) Planificación urbana e rexional; 2) Tecnoloxías da información e planificación ambiental; 3) Xestión de áreas rurais e de interese natural.

• Tutorial action and reception

  Una vez que los estudiantes deciden estudiar en la USC, esta pone a su disposición todo un dispositivo de información y acogida para facilitar su inscripción, incorporación e integración como estudiante universitario.

  En los primeros días de clase el coordinador del Máster organizará una o varias sesiones informativas para comunicar a los alumnos cuáles son los objetivos generales de la titulación, las competencias y destrezas que se alcanzarán con la formación ofrecida, así como para dar una visión general de la localización de recursos (aulas, bibliotecas), personas responsables y canales de comunicación.

  También durante los primeros días de clase, y con el objeto de mantener abierta de forma dinámica una vía de comunicación permanente con los alumnos, la Comisión Académica nombrará un tutor para cada uno de los alumnos, que no tendrá que ser necesariamente su futuro director de Tesis, y cuyas funciones principales serán la de atender a su tutorando, derivando las cuestiones que éste le plantee a los cauces adecuados, y la de hacer un seguimiento que permita localizar posibles dificultades académicas con el adelanto suficiente para ser corregidas.

• Title suspension rules

  Cando se produza a suspensión dun título oficial, a USC garante o adecuado desenvolvemento efectivo das ensinanzas que iniciasen os seus estudantes ata a súa finalización. Para iso, o Consello de Goberno aproba os criterios relacionados, entre outros, coa admisión de matrículas de novo ingreso na titulación e coa supresión gradual da impartición da docencia.

  Se o título extinguido é substituído por outro similar (modificando a natureza do título), a memoria da nova titulación fixará as condicións que faciliten aos/as estudantes a continuidade de estudos no novo título e as equivalencias entre as materias dun e doutro plan.

  Access

  Poderán acceder ás ensinanzas oficiais de máster:

  1. As persoas que estean en posesión dun título universitario oficial español.
  2. Aquelas que teñan un título expedido por unha institucion de educación superior do EEES que faculta no país expedidor do título para o acceso a ensinanzas de máster.
  3. Os titulados conforme a sistemas educativos alleos ao EEES sen necesidade de homologación dos seus títulos, previa comprobación pola Universidade de que os ditos títulos acreditan un nivel de formación equivalente aos correspondentes títulos universitarios españois e que facultan no país expedidor do título para o acceso a ensinanzas de posgrao.

  Admission

  Modality: General criteria

  Access qualifications in order of preference:

  1st Graduates in Agricultural Engineering, Forestry Engineering, Civil Engineering, Landscape and Architecture; Degree or Bachelor's Degree in Geography and Territory Planning.
  2nd Other degrees from the branch of Engineering and Architecture or Social and Legal Sciences
  3rd Degrees of the branch of Sciences.

  Students from countries with a language other than Galician, Portuguese or Spanish must prove their level of Galician: Celga I, or Spanish: B1.
  If they do not possess any of the titles, the USC will carry out a level test and, if they do not pass it, they must modify the enrollment so that they can only enroll 25% of the subjects of the 1st semester, and attend an intensive course at the same time. of Galician or Spanish in the first semester until reaching the required level.

-Train specialists to carry out studies of the territory that serve as a basis for territorial planning in terms of territorial sustainability, as well as natural resources, particularly soil as a scarce resource, by the Administrations and the company.

-Contribute to the integration between urban and rural areas and the most vulnerable spaces such as protected natural areas, mountain areas and coastal areas, favoring environmental and territorial sustainability, and favoring the application of the European Union strategy European Spatial Development Perspective ( ESDP of 1999), as well as the Territorial Agendas of 2007 and 2011.

  - Know the main instruments of planning and territorial management and the main figures of planning in planning of the territory and urbanism.

  - Ability to carry out processes of analysis, evaluation and diagnosis of the territory, the environment, urban planning, land use and land ownership from an economic, social and environmental point of view.
  - Training to extract, analyze and present the necessary information for decision-making in territorial and environmental planning and management.
  - Knowledge and critical use of specialized terminology in territorial and environmental planning and management, and capacity for the practical application of knowledge about territorial planning, especially in Galicia.
  - Preparation and writing of reports on territorial planning, urban planning and environmental management through critical analysis, evaluation and synthesis of new and complex ideas.

Internships

La titulación incluye la realización de prácticas en empresa por un total de 6 créditos.

Los contenidos de cada práctica son potencialmente tan diversos como los contenidos del propio Máster, debido a la gran diversidad de convenios y empresas e instituciones en las que se podrán realizar las prácticas.

La evaluación de las prácticas se realizarán mediante el informe emitido por la empresa o institución de acogida y la memoria de actividades presentada por cada estudiante. La calificación final será establecida por el docente coordinador de las prácticas.

Este máster contempla la realización de un trabajo fin de máster de 6 créditos.

El alumnado será capaz de aplicar los conocimientos teóricos y prácticos a casos de estudios reales y a la resolución de problemas. El alumnado reforzará los conocimientos adquiridos, particularmente los conceptos, modelos y teorías, mediante su puesta en práctica.

Las competencias adquiridas son una síntesis del conjunto del máster, con mayor énfasis en las de carácter investigador. El alumnado podrá realizar una propuesta de hipótesis, definir objetivos, determinar la metodología de toma de datos, análisis e interpretación, realizar una revisión bibliográfica, elaborar conclusiones, redactar un documento científico o técnico y exponer y comunicar los resultados.

O corpo docente do programa procede de diferentes disciplinas científicas (Xeografía, Enxeñaría, Economía, Bioloxía) e está integrado en grupos de investigación recoñecidos como unidades de investigación competitivas pola Consellería de Educación, Universidade e Formación Profesional. Todo o equipo docente participa habitualmente en proxectos de investigación, así como en contratos e convenios con entidades públicas e privadas relacionados coa práctica da planificación territorial.
