The general objectives are:
• Know how to identify different addictions, both those related to substances (eg, dependence on alcohol, tobacco, cannabis, cocaine, heroin, synthetic drugs, etc.) and impulse control such as pathological gambling.
• To know the different etiological factors and related factors, both socially, psychologically and biologically, related to addictions.
• Know how to make an adequate psychological evaluation of the various addictions and other problems related to them.
• Know and be able to put into practice the psychological intervention of choice for each of the addictions.
• Know and know how to apply effective intervention protocols, or effective manualized interventions, for different addictions.
• To know the comorbidity associated with addictions, to know how to detect and evaluate it, and what intervention to apply in each case.
• Know how to make a report (diagnosis, evolution of the intervention, result of the intervention, etc.) of a patient with an addiction directed to medical personnel, another psychologist, an insurance company, etc.
• Know how to seek updated information about the disorder and its treatment.

Tobacco in the Smoking Unit of the Faculty of Psychology of the USC.

CG6 - To know in depth the different models of evaluation and intervention in the field of General Sanitary Psychology, as well as the techniques and procedures derived from them for the treatment of behavioral disorders and the psychological factors associated with health problems .
CG7 - Plan, carry out and, if appropriate, supervise the process of psychological evaluation of human behavior and psychological factors associated with health problems to establish wool assessment of them.
CG10 - Apply the fundamentals biiotically and the method of deliberation in professional practice wool, adjusting its exercise as a health professional to the provisions of Law 44/2003, of November 21, on the management of wool health professions.
TRANSVERSALES
CT4 - Know how to formulate working hypotheses in research and to collect and critically evaluate wool information for problem solving, applying the scientific method.
CT5 - Know how to develop your work from wool perspective of wool quality and wool continuous improvement, with wool self-critical capacity required for responsible professional performance.

SPECIFIC
CE1 - Know how to apply the main theories on the etiology of human behavior disorders in the conceptualization of each case.
CE2 - Be able to plan and develop an assessment and intervention session, establishing wool hypotheses that deduce testable statements.
CE3 - Know how to select and apply technical wool and the evaluation instruments most suitable for each case according to their characteristics and context.
CE6 - Know how to plan and develop a psychological intervention, setting pertinent and realistic objectives based on the characteristics of the problem and the context.
CE8 - Know how to provide feedback to the recipients in an appropriate and precise way with the purpose of involving them in different phases of the process of psychological evaluation and intervention.
CE10 - Know how to write psychological reports adequately to the recipients.
The development of the program will be done through lectures by the teacher and case presentation sessions, complemented by role-playing, case resolution, work, etc.
Students will interact, solve and acquire skills through these presentations.
Audiovisual media will be used in each exhibition.
System for the assessment of the acquisition of competences:
1) Attendance to the face-to-face sessions would be considered mandatory (minimum 80%).
2) Continuous evaluation of the subject, through the active participation of the students, both in the theoretical sessions and in the presentation, discussion of cases and videotapes, and the accomplishment of works and controls of the subject. Up to 40% of the final grade.
3) Theoretical-practical examination of the contents of the subject. Up to 60% of the final grade.
