- CB1.- Having and showing knowledge in this area of study. This area of study started to be analysed in secondary education and involves advanced knowledge.

The theoretical and interactive sessions will be developed presentially in the official schedule published by the faculty.
The theoretical sessions will last for one hour and forty-five minutes one day a week. In the theoretical sessions the program of the subject will be developed, explaining concepts and subjects. In these sessions, the computer and the cannon-projector will be the main instruments for teaching, projecting transparencies and different material that serves of guide to the explanations. The blackboard, articles or any one another necessary information could be also used.

The interactive sessions will last one hour and forty-five minutes one day a week. The students will work with texts, resolve exercises and practical cases, will expose tasks, in debates with his mates, being particular important the activities in group. The interactive sessions can involve the realization of activities out of the classroom, as it is exposed in the section to the time of study and personal work. The professor will employ the laptop and the cannon projector, giving to the students different exercises, practical cases, or any material related with the subject.
Professors will monitor the assistance and the participation of the students.

The participation in the theoretical and interactive sessions will be complemented with the personal work of the students, including activities of searching information and bibliographic material, readings, developing individual or group works or other activities.
This autonomous work will be guided by the professor. Tutorial hours will serve to resolve doubts and resolve problems. Tutorial hours also will serve of channel of feedback on the degree of assimilation of contents by part of the students.

Tutorials will be face-to-face tutorials as favorite option. They could be on-line tutorials, if it is needed. On-line tutorials could combine synchronic (individual or group tutorials through MS Teams) or asynchronic tutorials (Virtual Campus). Tutorials will take place at hours public hours stablished by professors.

The evaluation will take into account all the activities developed by the students (active participation in the analysis of cases, debate and comment of readings, articles or news of press, developing and presentation of tasks, examination of contents, etc.).

In case of fraudulent realization of exercises or proofs, regulations of evaluation of the academic performance of the students and of review of qualifications of the USC will be applied.

There are two opportunities to pass the subject. The students that do not pass the subject in the first opportunity will have a second opportunity. This will be the one who will appear in his academic file only in case of these results are better than in the first opportunity.
The relevance of the different activities is showed below.
-First ordinary opportunity:
1) Theory evaluation – through a final face-to-face exam: 65%. The exam could include short questions (or combining short questions with multiple choice questions), short reasoning questions, solving invented or real case studies considering theoretical knowledge and/or skills/competencies developed during the course.

2) Continuous assessment: Participation in the activities carried out in interactive sessions (solving practical cases, class presentations, debating, making presentations, attitude and behaviour in the classroom …): 35% of the qualification.
The relation of the different activities along the course and their relevance for the course will be indicated to students by professors with enough time.

To add the exam the continuous assessment qualifications, the minimum grade in the exam must be 3 over 6.5 points.
To pass the subject, the minimum total grade must be 5 over 10 points.

-Second extraordinary opportunity of recovery:

The same system of evaluation that at the earliest opportunity will be applied. That is, this opportunity includes a new exam, adding the grades of interactive sessions in the same way than in the first opportunity.

-In accordance with the Rule of valid Permanence in the USC for the studies of Degree and Master (art. 5.2), the mere assistance and/or participation in any one of the activities of the course will involve that the final note of the student was distinct of NOT PRESENTED.

-The students that do not obtain any punctuation linked to the activities which take place in the classes only will be able to obtain a maximum of 6.5 points.

Students exempted to attend lessons will be assessed through a specific face-to-face exam which will allow them to obtain 100% of total grade.

This is a 6 ECTS credit course (150 hours).
The total work is distributed in the following way:
- Contact hours (expositive, interactive, tutoring and assessment): 60 hours
- Students’ work: 90 hours. Student’s work depends on personal abilities from students. An average time distribution is showed below:
-Individual/group study time: 45 hours.
-Off class activities: 45 hours.

Active participation and regular attendance to expositive and interactive lessons contributes to an optimal learning process. Students should use bibliography and materials provided by the professor. Professor support sessions (tutorials) are very helpful for solving doubts about the contents of the subject. On line campus also provides students with useful information and complementary material for classes.
Reading the program and information on the assessment system is also helpful for an optimal learning process.
