The degree in Classical Philology is oriented towards knowledge of all aspects of Graeco-Latin antiquity. It focuses on the study of the Greek and Latin languages, as well as literature and culture, thus celebrating and preserving the cultural richness of the Classical Period. To achieve these objectives, the study and knowledge of classical texts is essential, and the degree provides expertise in this area, not only through the acquisition of both Greek and Latin, but through an in-depth understanding, analysis and commentary of classical texts.
