- Lecture teaching: Faculty members present the conceptual content of the subject.
- Seminar: This is a space for reflection and/or in-depth exploration of theoretical content with collaborative and cooperative work.
- Individual work-Independent problem-solving: Solving specific problems from a practical perspective.

Of the proposals in Article 21 of RD 822/2021, the following are used: project-based learning or case studies, collaborative and cooperative work, problem-solving-based learning, teaching based on the intensive use of digital information and communication technologies, and other initiatives promoted by the university or institution.

- Seminar participation: Demonstration of knowledge and participation: Weighted at 50%.
- Assignments: Preparation and/or presentation of academic papers, Writing and formal questions, Evidence provided, Demonstration of knowledge. Weighted at 50%.

- Theoretical/lecture: 10 hours (8 hours in-person and 2 hours distance learning). Attendance requirements: 80%
- Interactive/seminar: 14 hours (10 hours in-person and 4 hours distance learning). Attendance requirements: 71%
- Student personal work: 51 hours. Attendance requirements: 0%

Attendance at the lectures and interactive sessions is essential for following and successfully completing the course. Students must complete all the activities recommended by the faculty (problem-solving, literature review, and practical exercises) to successfully complete the course. It is highly recommended that students take advantage of the five hours of tutorials for problem-solving and completing exercises.

CLASS ATTENDANCE:

The Governing Council approved the Regulations on Class Attendance for Official Undergraduate and Master's Degree Programs at the University of Santiago de Compostela, held at the Governing Council meeting on November 25, 2024.

The USC is a face-to-face university, so the aforementioned attendance requirements are mandatory. In the cases contemplated in the Faculty's regulations, students may request official exemption from teaching. In cases where exemption from class attendance is contemplated, subject to specific circumstances, the regulations issued in Instruction No. 1/2017 of the USC General Secretariat will be taken into account. Students must use the USC email address (@rai.usc.es) when communicating with faculty members via email.

Teaching and learning (classes/tutorials) is a private process, understood as a process of communication and exchange between the faculty member and the students enrolled in the course.

ENVIRONMENTAL RESPONSIBILITY:

-Avoid plastic covers or other unnecessary external packaging.

-Whenever possible, use staples instead of binding.

-Do not use blank pages as chapter or section dividers.
-Avoid appendices that do not directly relate to the topics covered.

The gender perspective will be introduced transversally into the content.

MOBILE USE:

The use of mobile phones in the classroom is restricted to use as a work tool, following the instructions given by the teacher. Students are responsible for any legal and academic consequences that may arise from improper use.
