The Department of Spanish Language and Literature, Theory of Literature and General Linguistics is made up of four areas of knowledge -Spanish Language, General Linguistics, Spanish Literature and Theory of Literature and Comparative Literature- that is made up of 52 teachers who carry out their academic activities in the Faculty of Philology in the Santiago campus and in the Faculty of Humanities in the Lugo campus and participate in the work of 9 research groups.
