At the end of the course, students will achieve the following objectives related to the areas of KNOWING, KNOWING HOW TO DO and KNOWING HOW TO BE and BEING

Objectives related to KNOWING:
- To understand the conceptual foundations of e-health and its evolution in health systems.
- Knowing the main technologies applied to digital health: EHR, telemedicine, apps, AI, big data, etc.
- Identify the legal and ethical frameworks for the use of health technologies.
- Analyse the challenges and opportunities of digital transformation in healthcare.

Objectives related to KNOW-HOW:
- Use digital tools commonly used in the current healthcare context, such as electronic medical records and patient monitoring applications.
- Participate in the discussion and assessment of practical cases related to the digitalisation of health services.

Objectives related to KNOWING HOW TO BE AND BEING:
- Show a critical, responsible and ethical attitude towards the use of health technologies.
- Collaborate actively and constructively in group activities.
- Recognise the value of humanisation in digital healthcare environments.
- Act with leadership, responsibility and sensitivity to the impact of digital transformation on patients, professionals and organisations.

The methodology to be used during the course will combine different working modalities, techniques and approaches, and may include:
- Participative lectures (face-to-face or synchronous).
- Critical reading of scientific articles and/or technical documents
- Analysis of real cases and benchmarking of solutions.
- Group work and/or project implementation simulations.
- Seminars with invited experts from the health and technology sector.

The assessment of competences follows a Continuous Assessment method based on the students' presentations and the delivery of the necessary materials to pass the subject.
The evaluation of the subject includes the following elements with their corresponding percentage weights in the final grade:
- Active participation in the development of the course: this will be assessed on the basis of continued class attendance, reflective and critical attitude and active participation in the activities and debates that take place in class (10%).
- Completion of the tasks set throughout the course: the analytical capacity and the ability to apply the theoretical knowledge acquired will be assessed, as well as the capacity for synthesis, integration of concepts and writing. Information on the development and assessment of the assignments will be available on the virtual campus of the subject (30%).
- Final work (individual or group work) and public exhibition (public defence and presentation) (20%).
- Final exam of objective questions (multiple-choice or short questions): This will be a final test (synchronous or asynchronous), which will be used to evaluate the knowledge imparted during the lectures (30%).
- Completion of an individual report on the learning acquired during the course (10%).
It is compulsory to pass at least 50% of each component in order to pass the course.
