Research Stay and Participation in the XXIX Encontro Luso-Galego de Química
Research Stay:
From March 1 to May 31, 2025, Andrea Arribas carried out a research stay at the Instituto Politécnico de Bragança (Portugal). This stay focused on collaborative work in the field of ionic liquids and their applications in challenging separation processes, strengthening international cooperation and knowledge exchange.
Conference Participation:
During this period, our team also attended the XXIX Encontro Luso-Galego de Química, held in Braga, Portugal, from 10 to 12 November 2025, presenting two poster contributions:
- Poster Presentation:
Propionate-based ionic liquids as entrainers for challenging separation processes
Authors: Miriam Domingues Guimarães, Andrea Arribas, Aline Zambom, Mónia A. R. Martins, João A. P. Coutinho, Héctor Rodríguez, Olga Ferreira, Simão P. Pinho - Poster Presentation:
Selective fractionation of bergamot oil components using the ionic liquid 1-ethyl-3-methylimidazolium acetate
Authors: Aline Zambom, Mónia A. R. Martins, João A. P. Coutinho, Simão P. Pinho, Olga Ferreira, Héctor Rodríguez
This combination of a research stay and conference participation highlights our commitment to advancing sustainable separation technologies and fostering strong international collaborations.
